This therapeutic yoga and movement series is designed to help you increase mobility and strength through your low back and hips. Whether you suffer from hip or back pain or simply want to keep your body limber and healthy so that you continue to move well for years to come, this class is for you!


This class that will combine yoga, somatic practices, and strength & mobility training to bring greater awareness and change to how we move and feel. This series will have a strong focus on improving mobility and creating better movement through the hips and spine – resulting in less tension and pain.


Somatic practices are  type of movement therapy that helps to re-educate the way our brain and central nervous system affects our movement.


This class is suitable for any level of experience with yoga.  Those new to yoga will enjoy the gentle somatic practices to warm up the body before the yoga postures and those with more experience with yoga or other movement modalities will take their awareness of their body to new levels through practices that are designed to bring our unconscious movement patterns (movement blind spots) more conscious.

*PLEASE READ: I’ve added a 6-week pre-registered option.  The 6-week option is not a flexible pass and is only valid for this class for the dates Nov 6 – Dec 11.  Both the 8-class pass and the FALL All Class Pass can be used to attend these Yoga for the Hips & Low Back classes on any remaining dates for the season OR any of the other regular classes this fall (Yoga Nidra, Yoga Strength, Yoga Strength & Restore). The 8-class pass and the Fall All Class Passes  are valid September through December 2019.  All passes are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another person or extended beyond December 2019. Fall All Class Passes offer a 50% discount on monthly restorative classes and a 15% discount on workshops, special classes, and pre-registered class series.
