Deepen your Restorative yoga practice or learn more about Restorative yoga if you are curious and have yet to try it.

 

Experience a complete Restorative yoga practice including a guided deep relaxation. Observe the difference in the experience of relaxation by paying attention to subtle details that help you decrease stress and anxiety and access the parasympathetic nervous system.

 

Gain an understanding of some general benefits of the different Restorative yoga postures so that you can better determine the postures that might be the most useful for you. You’ll leave with a few ideas for incorporating a regular 20-minute practice at home.

 

Jenn’s own blend of calming herbal tea and homemade treats will be served.

 

The February workshop will include a special focus on postures to lift the heavy heart and combat the winter blues; however, while certain postures can have specific therapeutic benefits, all Restorative yoga practices are designed to encourage relaxation and the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system which can lead to a broad array of health benefits.
