May is Foot Health Awareness Month and I am offering three special events to focus on foot health including foot strength & mobility, ankle strength & mobility and hip strength & mobility.  What?  The hips are pretty far from the feet, Jenn!  Well yes, they are, but as part of the science of whole body movement (whole body biomechanics) that is the backdrop for everything that I teach, the hips and the feet are extremely connected – the strength and mobility of one affects the other… I’m not ignoring the hips during Foot Health Awareness Month.


The feet are so important to all movement and there are a lot of modern lifestyle factors that have brought us to a place of extremely weak and immobile feet that leave us with not only feet that are more susceptible to injury but a whole body that is more susceptible to injury.  Whether you are a runner or other athlete, someone that likes to get outside and get moving, or someone that just wants to maintain your whole body health as you age, you can improve your health and whole body resilience through spending more time strengthening and mobilizing your feet.  These 3 events will set you well on your path to feeling great!


You can register for these events individually at the hyperlinks above.  Or you can get $10 off when you register for all 3 events below.  Each event will have a different focus and different exercises and lessons to take home and bring into your everyday life to improve your foot health and awareness of your feet.  There will be some overlap as well but considering how little time we spend exercising our feet repetition of some of the foot exercises a few times in one month is good thing to help you develop new healthy foot habits as we move into the barefoot season!


Strengthening and mobilizing your feet will change your life!  I’m on a mission to change the world through improving foot health! Ok, sort of kidding, but in all seriousness improving our family’s foot health has improved our ability to participate in many more activities without nagging, aching feet and when we do sprain an ankle or some other injury the recovery is much quicker. Having strong, pain-free feet and hips and participating in more activities because of it changes our whole perspective and outlook on life. So sort of not kidding – the world just might be a better place if we all had happier feet 🙂
